Yes, you will need a graphics card to watch 4K videos or play games in 4K on your Windows machine. You have to purchase any of the high-end graphics cards to do so.
However, in case if you are using the latest gaming consoles like the PlayStation 5 or Xbox One. Then both of the consoles are capable of running games in 4K. So you don’t need to do anything.
However, the graphics card is only required for PC gamers. As your motherboard won’t be able to produce 4K resolution.
