- The Snap Windows toggle button should be turned on.

What is the best way to snap two windows together?
- Open several applications on your computer.
- Place your cursor in one of the programs’ titles bars.
- By pressing and holding the left mouse button until the mouse no longer moves, drag the window to the left corner of your screen.
- Remove the mouse from the equation. It will now be snapped into place on the left side of your screen, taking up half of the screen.
Split-screen keyboard shortcut in Windows 10: You may also use the Windows + left arrow and Windows + right arrow keys to snap windows together.
- Other windows will now appear on the right side of the screen. Any of them will be snapped onto the right side of your screen when you click on them.
- Simply drag the boundary line that divides both windows to resize both windows at the same time. If you want to view more of one window than the other, this is a good option.
How to Snap More Than Two Windows?
You can snap a maximum of four windows using the Corner Snap function.
- Open a number of applications on your computer.
- Place your cursor in one of the programs’ titles bars.
- Drag and move the window to the screen’s top-left corner.
- For the second window, repeat the second and third steps. Drag the window to the bottom-left corner of the screen from here.
- Corner Snap is now turned on by default.
- Drag and move the third window to the screen’s top right corner.
- Then, in the bottom right corner of the screen, click on the fourth window to snap it into place.
Note: You may unsnap any window by dragging it away from the corner at any moment.

Though there are other ways to split the screen, using Snap Assist is the most convenient way to accomplish your aim.
